After our first mission camp in Haiti, in the summer of 2014, we launched the sponsorship campaign. Our goal was to sponsor at least 50 students attending the school in Haiti. Through God's Providence and the generosity of many families of our St. Joachim community, 107 students were sponsored during the school year 2014-2015. Here you can see their pictures.
Thank you to all those who, during the school year 2014-2015, supported our taco sales, either by running them or getting those delicious tacos. Through your generosity, we were able to help with the construction and furnishing of a new cafeteria in Haiti. The sisters and the children are deeply grateful for this project that has brought new dignity to what should be a daily routine of having a meal. To express their gratitude, they sang this song of thanksgiving, "Mercy, Bon Dieu" -"Thank You, Good God."- |
HaitiIn October 2013, our St. Joachim community started its cooperation with what is now our sister school in Haiti, run by the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception. Since then, blessings have been flowing back and forth between the poorest country in the Western hemisphere and the land of opportunity. ArchivesCategories |
